We are particularly excited to be introducing Highlander Tour players and parents this exciting new venue. Undoubtedly one of the best Orlando has to offer. Designer Ron Garl has tried to bring a touch of Scotland and Links Golf to The Sunshine State and check out some of those 60 bunkers…we think this is going to be another great Highlander Tour day and we hope you can join us at Eagle Creek GC. The info below and images are taken directly from their website:

Eagle Creek Golf Club

Conveniently located minutes from the Orlando International Airport, Eagle Creek Golf Club Orlando was designed by world-renowned golf course architects Ron Garl and Howard Swan. It is an extraordinary 18-hole, 7200-yard, Par 73 championship course with five sets of tees for golfers of all skill levels and more than 60 bunkers and dramatic bulkheads are reminiscent of those found in Scotland and England. Overall, the true Scottish-style experience of Eagle Creek Golf Club stands out from other Orlando championship golf courses as a true golfing masterpiece!

Enjoy our unique Orlando Golf Club features like the spectacular 14,000 square foot, two-story clubhouse designed in a vintage, New England-manor style, which includes a fully stocked pro shop, the Belfry Restaurant – a 120-seat restaurant with private wedding and banquet space available, plus locker rooms and showers for men and women.

Whichever your occasion may be, we invite you to join us sometime soon for an exceptionally memorable experience at one of Central Florida’s finest signature golf clubs.

Please note that the date we have secured to play Mission Inn is only a day before the FHSAA High School State Championships will take place this year. The venue is always exceptionally well maintained but on this date should be at its exquisite best! If you are a High School player lucky enough to make it to the Florida High School State Championships why not come play with HJT and get a practice round in while playing against a strong field of talented junior players?

Mission Inn Resort is undoubtedly Florida’s Premier competition venue and has been for many years. The FHSAA State Championships for qualifying High School Boys is played at Mission Inn over the El Campeon Course and for qualifying High School Girls is played over the Las Colinas Course. Both provide an exceptional challenge.

El Campeon

Once in a while an opportunity arises to take our talented young golfers to a venue that truly is something special indeed! In this case it is Mission Inn. Boasting a wonderful history and a really impressive list of events that return there year after year we agree that it  deserves its awarded title of Florida’s Number 1 and its place as one of the top 25 in the country! Read more below from Mission Inn website:

Surrounded by an abundance of natural Florida beauty, the El Campeón 18-hole championship course was designed by Chicago-based course architect, George O’Neil and built in 1917 – with further enhancements in 1926 by Charles E. Clarke of Troon, Scotland.

El Campeón is one of the South’s oldest golf courses and blends unusual Central Florida elevation changes of more than 85 feet with features of traditional golf design, including spectacular rolling fairways and undulating greens.

The course’s signature hole is the par 5, 17th hole – which features a long double dogleg that has more obstacles than some entire courses!
