About the Course:

Located just minutes from downtown Orlando, Dubsdread Golf Course features the oldest public layout in the central Florida area.

This classic course has plenty of history attached to it as the former site of the Orlando Golf Open, when it hosted such golf legends as Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and Claude Harmon.

Today, golfers are treated to the same beautiful scenery and challenges of the original course, including narrow fairways and heavily bunkered, “postage stamp” style greens.

**Please note FHSAA (Florida’s High School State Championships 2021 – Girls ) will be played on THIS course (Las Colinas) beginning only 48 hours after we play this event. Take this unique opportunity to get to know the course during full  tournament conditions.**

Las Colinas

Classic, old-architecture style that demands proper shot placement.

Designed by Gary Koch and built in 1992, Las Colinas (Spanish for “the hills”) is an 18-hole championship course that offers quite a different challenge from El Campeón. It is an inland links design with generous, wide-open fairways, gentle rolling hills and large, undulating greens. Play a Top power ranked U.S. course on GolfAdvisor – Las Colinas (#3) – April 2017.

Las Colinas was nominated as “Best New Resort Course” by Golf Digest in 1992, named “Best Places to Play – 4 stars” by Golf Digest, and has received “Top Fairways” recognition by Golf for Women. Its signature hole is “Alligator Alley”, the par 5, 12th hole that spans 493 yards along a tree-lined fairway and requires absolute accuracy from tee-to-green.

**Please note FHSAA (Florida’s High School State Championships 2021 – Boys ) will be played on THIS course (EL Campeon) beginning only 48 hours after we play this event. Take this unique opportunity to get to know the course during full  tournament conditions.**

El Campeon

Once in a while an opportunity arises to take our talented young golfers to a venue that truly is something special indeed! In this case it is Mission Inn. Boasting a wonderful history and a really impressive list of events that return there year after year we agree that it  deserves its awarded title of Florida’s Number 1 and its place as one of the top 25 in the country! Read more below from Mission Inn website:

Surrounded by an abundance of natural Florida beauty, the El Campeón 18-hole championship course was designed by Chicago-based course architect, George O’Neil and built in 1917 – with further enhancements in 1926 by Charles E. Clarke of Troon, Scotland.

El Campeón is one of the South’s oldest golf courses and blends unusual Central Florida elevation changes of more than 85 feet with features of traditional golf design, including spectacular rolling fairways and undulating greens.

The course’s signature hole is the par 5, 17th hole – which features a long double dogleg that has more obstacles than some entire courses!
