Majestic Eagle Ridge

We are always excited to return to one of our favorite courses with The Highlander Tour. Great practice facilities, good greens and a challenging but fair course that’s always well maintained means we usually see some good scores returned by our talented young players. Head Professional Dale Smauder and his professional team have always shown great commitment to the development of Junior Golf in our community and a great welcome to everyone and in turn we really enjoy playing there. Eagle Ridge boasts 4 great 9 hole course layouts which always results in a fresh layout and challenge for our players.

Callum the Wee Highland Coo!

After the success of our previous events for our Wee Highlander under 8’s we are really excited to be adding another Wee Highlanders Tour competition to our schedule of events.

Each of our Wee Highlanders events is tailored to our youngest golfers to ensure they can enjoy a fun competitive match perfectly suited to their age and ability. Each event will be played over 6 holes with junior course yardages in place and each competition winner will be presented with an exclusive Highlanders medal.

We anticipate that this event will be popular and enjoyable for all participants. From a development perspective we believe we can help provide that stepping stone to integrating these youngest players into

playing competitive junior golf on The Highlander Junior Tour as they advance in age and become more confident and more competent golfers.

We are happy to announce this Wee Highlander competition will take place on Saturday August 8th. at Eagle Ridge GC at 1.30pm.

GC and cost will be $25 per player including range balls for all players. Carts are available for rent separately by accompanying parents at the venue and all players are encouraged to ride with parents. Parents are permitted to advise/caddy for players. Safety is our priority and all necessary social distancing measures will be in place for this event.

Rolling hills peppered with majestic trees and the feeling of being immersed in nature make it no wonder that the club’s culture is considered ‘laid-back luxury’. The crowning achievement of Red Tail is the spectacular 18-hole golf course. Players of all abilities will love the course which was designed by famed golf course architect Dave Harman. Play spans 7,152 yards, creating a par 72 links-style course. There’s also a 10-acre practice facility for golfers to improve their game, along with two putting greens. The Champion Golfer 2020 Claret Jug
The Claret Jug at Harbor Hills

Its always a great pleasure to return to Harbor Hills Country Club. Tom Leimberger, Krista and the team work hard to support junior golf in our community and they always provide a fine welcome to our Tour. Harbor Hills is deceptively challenging and it always proves tough for most of the field to post their lowest numbers. Lots of elevation changes and usually a firm breeze contribute to that!

Harbor Hills has always provided us with quite a few great moments, fine scoring performances and some wonderfully competitive junior golf. Don’t miss out on this one, register early!

Yesterday we had a pair of talented young players challenging themselves against the Eagle Ridge course and greens to try to achieve their best score. Kenzi Kacanich aged 7 made her debut recently and left with a winners medal when it was impossible to seperate her and Koen Huther's tied scores even after several play off holes!… Read More
Tournament Results from Eagle Ridge GC on Saturday August 1st 2020 - It proved to be a pretty memorable day yesterday for the HJT players and spectators who joined us at Eagle Ridge Golf Club for so many reasons. An afternoon full of great golf, battling qualities and determination in abundance, no fewer than 7 players in the field  shooting impressive scores in the 70's and even after 18 was played we still had to head back down number 1 for not one, but TWO extra hole playoffs in an effort to separate no fewer than 4 of our "all square after 18" tied players. It was exhausting just trying to keep… Read More
